If you are looking for a top notch restaurant in every way when in Vermont, then look no further. The Table Kitchen Bistro is a little gem and the place to go for all foodies alike.
Located in Richmond, The Kitchen Table Bistro offers top chef quality dining in a charming brick farmhouse. The restaurant has three dining rooms and a large bar area that all have a charming wooden decor. The atmosphere is simple, cosy and elegant. It is inviting diners to relax and enjoy some delicious food, wine and an intimate dining experience.
The menu is rather short; yet, it offers a wide variety of creative and delicious dishes. In fact, the menu changes based on seasonal available products that are sourced locally from Vermont farmers and growers. The Kitchen Table also serves a great selection of beers and wines.
We visited on a Saturday night while we were tripping around Vermont. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were immediately taken care of. The staff was very friendly. We did not have any starters and immediately ordered a main course.
I had the grilled LaPlatte River Angus Farm Butcher steak with grilled courgettes and fries. My dish was not only nicely plated but very tasty. The meat was cooked to perfection and the veggies were fresh and crunchy, as I like them.
As we were not very hungry, we did not have any starters. Nevertheless, we shared some blueberry sorbet which was delicious. I had never tasted blueberry sorbet before.
Overall, The Kitchen Table Bistro is an outstanding restaurant in every way. It offers amazing and unpretentious fine dining options. I highly recommend you pay a visit if you happen to be in the surroundings as I can guarantee that you will be having a memorable meal.
